Eight days a week

I reached a milestone today–exactly one week without smoking. I am now doing a happy dance of my own design. That’s all. No big fanfare or anything. Just wanted to acknowledge the passing milestone. Now if I could just give up the addiction to gum.

Wow! This is great! I’m proud of you.

My Great Uncle TJ used to be an alcoholic and a chain smoker. He gave up both before I was born (I’m almost 40). He says that he doesn’t crave the drink, but every once in a while, he wants a cigarette.

You can beat this. Keep on keeping on. I’m praying for you.

    Peace
    Dee

    Thanks Dee,

I need all the prayers, well-wishes, whatever folks can send. It’s not all that hard–until a craving hits. These are getting less and less frequent, thank goodness. I’m going to keep at it though. Oy!

    All the best,
    Dee

    Hey Evelyn,

Thanks for stopping in. Thanks for the well-wishes, too. Girl, I sure hope I’m inspiring you. LOL See you in a couple of weeks at Slam Jam!
