Oh it stinks to be me sometimes. Especially when it comes to covers. The cover gods must really hate me. In this case they caused my character descriptions to get lost in the sauce while my publisher got gobbled up by another (See Harlequin wins a BET).
Anywho, I ended up with this perfectly nice, albeit non sequitor, cover for my latest opus, An Innocent Man. All I ask is that while you are reading this book that you forget about the images on the cover. You see, my hero is three-quarters Hispanic, has wavy black hair he wears in a pony tail and his wardrobe has nothing but black in it. My heroine is a soccer coach, and for most of the novel dresses like one, baseball cap, sports bra and all. I don’t know who the heck the nice people on the cover are, but my characters would eat them for lunch and still be hungry.
Ah well, just so you know it wuzn’t me.
