Spam–A Lot

No sooner had I posted my last blog than some anonymous person (or a couple of anonymous folks) posted two completely unnecessary and unrelated posts to my last blog on Princess Condi. One of them was gibberish–then again, I didn’t have my readng glasses on. Another wanted me to link to a spam sight. Lovely. I may have to ask posters to register again if this keeps up. Hope not.

Condoleeza Rice–Chick Lit Heroine?

Chick lit authors often come under criticism that their heroines are vapid young things whose response to life’s tragedies is to shop for shoes and hang out with their friends. Authors take heart! Validation for your heroine’s life choices comes in the form of none other than our Secretary of State Condi Rice. As thousands of desperate American’s went for days without food or water, sweltering in Louisiana heat, rumor has it our girl was seen shopping for Ferragamos and taking in the hit show Spamalot. Lord knows, a girl needs to unwind from stress with a good musical number and look hot doing it. My Jimmy Choos are off to you, Condi.


Get into your most comfortable reading chair,
take off your shoes,
turn off the phone
and let Ms. Savoy's incredible talent take you away.
